Why we like it:

There aren’t a whole lot of high-volume and high-performance boots out there, so the 120 HV is in rare territory. By basing this boot off of the narrower models in the comprehensive Salomon lineup, we get a good foundation to stand on.

Who it's for:

Just because you have high-volume feet and/or thicker lower legs shouldn’t mean you don’t get to have a high-performance boot. This S/Pro HV 120 is a great boot for those with some extra width and height in the foot area. By providing a great balance of fit and performance, the HV 120 will offer those with fit issues a chance to be in a top-shelf boot.

Highlights:

Comfort, ease of use and convenience are highlights here as the S/Pro 120 HV is a great choice for those that want a high-end product but aren’t used to getting these types of features in a ski boot. With a heat-moldable shell, the boot can be stretched even further to accommodate very high-volume feet.

Things to consider:

The wider you go, the comfier you get, but there’s a downside here if you’re looking for only comfort. With more room inside the shell, performance will suffer if your foot does not fit the boot.

Fit & sizing considerations:

With a last that can be stretched up to 108 mm as per the manufacturer, these boots can be used on a wide selection of wide feet. With sizes up to 33.5, you can get some big feet in these things.
